Today we have the second installment of Maidenhair Fern Revival. Several viewers requested a check-in to see how the fern’s recovery went. You can see it’s doing really well now.
It’s been almost a year since we revived this fern after a period of drought. Initially, progress was slow because it was late fall 2023, heading into winter. There was minimal growth at first, but by early spring, new growth began to appear, and through spring and summer, the fern has thrived.
Tips for Reviving Maidenhair Ferns
Patience is key: Revival takes time.
Maintain humidity: Keep humidity levels high.
Proper watering: Keep soil moist, but avoid overwatering.
Correct lighting: Use bright, indirect light for optimal growth.
Check out my linked videos for part one of this revival and a full tutorial on how to grow Maidenhair Ferns. While reviving a Maidenhair Fern doesn’t always succeed, it’s always worth trying to restore a plant to its former glory.
