Today we have the second installment in the Maidenhair Fern Revival series. I’ve had several requests to check back in and show how her revival went—and as you can see, she’s doing really well!

I kept meaning to do a check-in video, but it kept slipping through the cracks. Now, it’s been almost a year since I revived her after she had been severely droughted. The revival began in October 2023, heading into winter, so growth was minimal at first—just a little bit of progress.

However, by early spring, new growth started appearing. Throughout the spring and into the summer, she truly came back to life. Now, this diva is thriving!

Keep in mind that reviving a Maidenhair fern takes time and patience. It’s important to maintain high humidity levels, consistent watering (but not overwatering), and proper lighting. I’ve included links below to videos on how to grow Maidenhair ferns, the original revival video (Part One), and other helpful resources.

Saving a Maidenhair fern isn’t always successful, but it’s certainly worth trying. I’m happy to report that this beauty is looking fabulous heading into winter this year.
