Today I’m sharing this fantastic tabletop grow kit from Gardener’s Supply Company. I’ve been buying from them for years and have always been happy with their products. They gave me this grow kit to review, and I’m excited to show it to you.
As you can see, the kit is both beautiful and functional. It features a full-spectrum LED light that shines directly down onto your plants—ideal for healthy growth. I’ll turn off the light briefly so you can get a better view. The upper level includes metal cache pots that hold plants. While these won’t benefit from the light, it’s still a great bonus space for additional greenery.
This kit is perfect for indoor gardeners like me—and likely like you—because more plant space is always better. The top section is sturdy enough to hold plants, and the kit also comes with a seed-starting mix if you want to grow from seed.
Turning the light back on, the LED fixture is magnetized and slides back and forth, allowing you to customize light placement. I currently have two African violets, a pink polka dot plant, a Fittonia (nerve plant), and a jade plant under the light—all of which thrive under full-spectrum lighting.
On the top level, I have another African violet, a goldfish plant, and a heartleaf philodendron. I can rotate the plants to ensure they all receive enough light.
This grow kit is functional, easy to assemble, and space-efficient. It practically comes assembled—you simply unfold it and clip on the light with magnetic attachments. No complicated parts or tools needed!
For dimensions, it measures 26 inches long, 13 inches wide, and 18 inches high. It has a powder-coated steel frame and high-quality components that ensure durability. Keep in mind the light fixture doesn’t move vertically, so you’ll eventually run out of vertical space for taller plants.
However, Gardener’s Supply offers other products like the Alden grow lamp, which is taller and also a great option.
As I always emphasize, good lighting is essential for successful indoor gardening. Some plants can survive in low light, but if you want happy, blooming plants with vibrant variegation, full-spectrum lighting is key.
Thanks to companies like Gardener’s Supply, there’s really no excuse for poor lighting. This tabletop grow kit—which also works on the floor—is both pretty and highly functional.
